Membership in the Southeastern Meat Association is of two types:
1. Regular Membership: Persons, firms or corporations who are meat and/or poultry packers, processors or distributors.
2. Associate Membership: Firms or corporations furnishing services or supplies to regular members.

SEMA Associate Members include the best suppliers available, including companies that sell food packaging, natural and fibrous casings, spices, equipment and liquid smoke. Members also provide consulting services including expertise in OSHA regulations, HACCP, FSIS / USDA regulations and food processing sciences.
